Set up ActiveSync on a Windows Mobile device

  1. Log into https://admin.myhostedexchange.com with your username (generally your email address) and password.
  2. Click on the Configuration Summary icon.
        
  3. You will see a listing of the settings you will need to input onto your device to configure ActiveSync under Windows Mobile 5 Device Settings.  NOTE: These steps will also work for Windows Mobile 6.
        
  4. On your device, do the following: 
    1. From the Today screen, select Start > Programs > ActiveSync .

    2.  In Server address , enter the server name information provided in your Configuration Summary.
    3. Select This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection check box.
    4. Select Next.
    5. Enter your user name, password, and HOSTEDEXCHANGE as the domain, and select Next.
    6. Select the Save password text box.
    7. To change the rules for resolving synchronization conflicts, select Advanced.
    8. Select the check boxes for the types of information items that you want to synchronize with Exchange Server.
    9. To change available synchronization settings, select the type of information and select Settings.
    10. Select Finish.
