Set up ActiveSync on a Windows Mobile device

- Log into https://admin.myhostedexchange.com with your username (generally your email address) and password.
- Click on the Configuration Summary icon.
- You will see a listing of the settings you will need to input onto your device to configure ActiveSync under Windows Mobile 5 Device Settings. NOTE: These steps will also work for Windows Mobile 6.
- On your device, do the following:
- From the Today screen, select Start > Programs > ActiveSync .

- In Server address , enter the server name information provided in your Configuration Summary.

- Select This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection check box.
- Select Next.

- Enter your user name, password, and HOSTEDEXCHANGE as the domain, and select Next.
- Select the Save password text box.
- To change the rules for resolving synchronization conflicts, select Advanced.
- Select the check boxes for the types of information items that you want to synchronize with Exchange Server.

- To change available synchronization settings, select the type of information and select Settings.
- Select Finish.
- From the Today screen, select Start > Programs > ActiveSync .
