Restoring Lanlogic Desktop Backup data to a new Computer

In the event that you need to restore your Lanlogic Desktop Backup data to a new computer, use the instructions below:

  1. Download and install the Lanlogic Desktop Backup
  2. Log into the application using your existing username and password.
  3. Double-click on the Lanlogic Backup logo on the top-right corner.
  4. In the text field that open on the bottom of the window, type in “GUID ##########” (without quotes) and press enter.  If you do not know the previous computer’s ID, you can email Lanlogic Support requesting it be provided to you.
  5. Exit out of and restart the Lanlogic Desktop Backup and it will start downloading/syncing your previous computer’s files.
